March 1983

- Gerard and Adam got born.

March 1999

- Gerard got a guitar. Jammed with a couple of duders including Gaven Kerr. It was shite. Frankly.

June-ish 1999

- Gerard met Adam through Kerr. We called ourselves HOSTILE INTENT, which is the name of Kerr's band now.

Lineup - Adam - Guitarz, Gerard - Guitarz, No bass, Gaven Kerr - vocals, no drumz.

September-ish 1999

- Kerr left, Gerard got a bass, we became Headcheese (from a line in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - not anything to do with smegma or W.W.F.!).

Lineup- Gerard - Bass, throat, Adam - guitarz, no drumz.

Winter 1999

- Gerard and Adam jammed in a wee stinky rehearsal room. Still no drumz.

January 2000

- Started to jam in Adam's house. Met Ryan, the maniacal Lars Ulrich Hanson brother drummer guy. Headcheese went weird.

Lineup - Gerard - bass, throat, Adam - Guitarz, Ryan - drumz.

March 2000

- On a quite bizarre acid trip, we travelled a different astral plane. Behind a strange blue moon, where the sun rarely shines, we found an incubating foetus. On his little incubator machine, it said his name was Cormac, and he'd been there since June 1983, and once he hatched, he realised he could play the bass like a big monster, for he truly is a BASS MONSTER. Well actually that's all lies. I knew him from school, but I never knew he played bass. So we poached him from my Good friend Barry Crookes' band, EZY and we realised he fitted in really well. He's still a bass monster though. Grrr.

Lineup - Gerard- Throat, Adam - Guitarz, Cormac - Bass Oddity, Ryan - Little Drummer Girl.

April 2000

- The lot of us minus Ryan went to see SHAKEDOWN, and Cormac fell off the wall outside The Venue, an occurence which to this very day, he has no recollection of. Met our Jedi Master, Phil Shakedown. Sound bloke, so he is.

Summer 2000

- Jammed a lot. Didn't do much. Wrote about 4 good songs. It's harder than it looks, you know. We also discovered Puppethead. And subsequently wrote a song about him.

August 2000

- First gig with Hexxed. Here's what happened. Cormac went to gay Reading to see Slipknot. I have pix of them unmasked, you know.

September 2000

- Me and Adam went to France. It was MAD.

October 2000

- Played 2nd gig in Morrison's with The Dangerfields and Spindrift. Here's what happened. Everything went arse-about-face due to a very Spinal Tap drummer situation. We managed to squeeze thon one gig out of Ryan, then he left to join his uncle's band, Honeyweed. Bye bye.

November 2000

- Invited Ryan's replacement, Glenn, to come up and jam with us. He never arrived, presumably lost in the wilderness surounding Abdul's house. Luckily, we got the dangerously sound Alex (born January 1981 - old geezer), just about a week before...

December 2000

- ... our third gig in Katy Daly's. I hated it (here's what happened), but Al's baptism of fire was complete, and the funky wee dude with the car and the respectable haircut was in. And Gerard got his hair cut.

Lineup - G3RARD - Throat, AD4M - GuitarZ, CO5MO - Cosmotronic Funk Monkey, ALeX - Drumz and transport!

January 2001

- Best gig yet in KD's. Here's what happened.

February 2001

Played a shite charity gig in The Front Page. Nothing else really spectacular.

March 2001

Alex tells us that he's leaving soon to go to Australia, but sticks with us nonetheless for three more gigs in Morrison's, Katy Daly's and the Rosetta.

April 2001

Recorded our first EP, 'I Was The Killer', with Alex on the drums, up at Frankie McClay's Einstein studios. Turned out cool. Check it out.

May/June 2001

The quest for a drummer ends at new drummer bloke, Michael. And new sampler/DJ/scary bloke Dave emerges to help show yez how fucked up we really are. Prepare yourself, kids... Also played a one-off gig in The Venue - Here's what happened.

Lineup - G3RARD - Throat, ADAM - Strings, COSMIX - Space Bass, MICHAEL - Beatz, DAVID - Scratches and various other weird shit.

July 2001

A period of pretty much nothing for Headcheese. We prepare new material to be included on our next demo. Michael leaves. More drummer fun. Yay.

August 2001

Not much happening. Still getting stuff sorted out for the next CD, titled 'Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things', to be produced by the now Ex-Spindrift Marty Robinson. Alex agrees to play one more gig, and we intend to use a drum machine for the CD.
