The Rosetta Bar

With HEXXED and STAND UP GUY

This gig started out so promisingly. Three ultra heavy bands. Fake Blood. Cormac being a rock star. Brilliant sound. But one vital aspect was missing.

A crowd.

Apart from the bands (12 people), the bands' girlfriends (about 8 people) and a few other tag alongs (about 3 people), a grand total of around five people turned up. Cheerz for the effort to come see us all of yez.

Stand Up Guy. In one word - GOOD. Very much so. A super-scary mix of Neurosis, Will Haven and Raging Speedhorn quite frankly rocked, to say the least. Completely totally brutally excellently woppin'. And Phil is truly the scariest guy I've ever seen.

We came on next, fake blood, samples, banners an' all. And we played like bastards. Indeed. Highlight of the gig had to be Cormac standing up on the wee podium looking every inch the rock star. Good stuff.

Then Hexxed scared me deeply.

And I went home.

Lovely.
